Our measuring devices for textiles are ideal for carrying out the constant monitoring and control of your production processes. Our range includes sample cutters for cutting out exact samples from a variety of materials such as foils, paper and various textiles. In combination with an additionally available basis weight scale, the basis weight of textiles can be determined, which is known to be a quality feature and an important test criterion for high quality textiles. The basis weight describes the weight or the mass of a material which acts on a certain surface, the unit usually used for the basis weight is g / m². Textile thickness gauges
We also have thickness gauges for various applications in our range. So there are initially handy thickness gauges, which are based on the shape of the probe and the pressure used, ISO standards such as DIN EN ISO 5084, DIN EN ISO 9073-2 and DIN 53326 are modeled and are therefore ideal for a quick check of materials directly in production. But also state-of-the-art mechanical and motorized thickness gauges that meet the various DIN EN ISO standards in demand in the textile industry with the highest precision and are therefore perfectly suitable for use in a test laboratory.
Textile moisture meters
Moisture meters for textiles are just as important as the two test methods mentioned above. For quality assurance on the one hand, but also for monitoring incoming goods. The moisture content of textiles can be a significant cost factor if materials with too high a moisture content are delivered. We therefore also offer you moisture meters, which can be equipped with special electrodes for yarns, packages, but also for goods in sacks or on rolls, and calibrations for textiles such as acetate, acrylic, hemp yarn, jute yarn, cotton, nylon, polyester, viscose, Flax and wool. Versions with a USB output are also available to document the results as part of your quality management.
Textile hardness meters and tension meters
