The Raytek FoodPro Plus thermometer combines the best temperature measurement technologies into one easy-to-use convenient tool: instant infrared (IR) surface scanning and a built-in probe thermometer for critical internal measurements, which makes the FoodPro Plus the professional’s tool of choice in a food safety thermometer.
Target Illuminating System
The FoodPro thermometers use a unique targeting system that accuratelly illuminates and indicates the measurement area. For the best results, the working range for scanning should be between 1-to-10 inches (2-to-25 cm) from the targeted area.
Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) programs are designed to detect unsafe food conditions. HACCP guidelines are recommended by the FDA for food service professionals and institutions to help detect unsafe food conditions*. HACCP programs incorporate the temperature at which a product should be stored, cooked, or cooled, as well as the length of time food products can safely remain at these temperatures.
The Raytek FoodPro thermometers provide the HACCP Check feature in both, FoodPro and FoodPro Plus models. The HACCP Check feature shows at a glance a target's temperature relative to the HACCP danger zone.
Green light indicates safe hot and cold holding temperatures.
Red light indicates potentially dangerous food temperatures.
Both models feature an easy to read display showing the current temperature. In addition, FoodPro Plus shows both the current and maximum temperatures.
