TMG universal thickness gauge - ASTM, DIN, EN & ISO norms
The new TMG series of thickness gauges provide highest accuracy in the measurement of material thicknesses.
The TMG universal thickness gauges have a simple design and are easy to operate: to measure the material correctly, you only have to lift the measuring probe above the wire lift trigger and then lower it to the material to be measured, while applying the specific measuring pressure of the respective measuring standard.
Thanks to its modular system, you can adapt the three basic types TMG-1, TMG-2 and TMG-3 and a large number of ASTM, DIN, EN and ISO standards can be combined without being obliged to buy several measuring devices. Please refer to the table below for more extensive information.
Ready-made solutions for the most common materials such as elastomers, textiles, leather, nonwoven, films, rubber, fabrics, geomaterials, paper, paper towels and cardboard can be offered by us as well as customized special solutions. Only the most superior quality of raw materials is used in the manufacturing of the TMG thickness gauge as shown by the massive laboratory grade granite table, stainless steel column and the highest quality aluminum boom on the TMG-1 and TMG-2 stainless steel models of the TMG-3. High quality materials do not only guarantee longevity, but also high corrosion resistance even when used in very humid rooms.
To conclude, these are essential prerequisites for ensuring a constant measuring pressure over a longer period of time and thus reproducible measuring results.

Two options are available for the certification of your gauge:
1. A manufacturer calibration certificate or
2. A DAkkS calibration, which refers purely to the dial gauge.
A combination of both options is also possible to meet the highest standard. In addition optional software for processing the measurement data is available.
