1. Quick Verification of Minimum Coating Thickness
- Set the Minimum Value:
- Rotate the analogue display to the required minimum coating thickness.
- Position the Gauge:
- Place the gauge on the material.
- Initiate the Test:
- Press the button on top of the gauge.
- Interpreting the Result:
- If the probe clicks and remains magnetically attached, the material’s coating thickness is below the minimum requirement.
- If the probe does not stay attached, the thickness exceeds the minimum value.
- This method allows operators to rapidly verify minimum coating thickness across large surfaces.
2. Quick Verification of Maximum Coating Thickness
- Set the Maximum Value:
- Adjust the analogue display to the required maximum coating thickness.
- Position the Gauge:
- Place the gauge on the material to be verified.
- Initiate the Test:
- Press the button on the gauge.
- Interpreting the Result:
- If the probe clicks and stays magnetically attached, the coating is below the maximum threshold.
- If the probe detaches and bounces back, the coating thickness is above the set maximum.

3. Determining the Actual Coating Thickness
- Prepare the Gauge:
- Rotate the analog display to the maximum available coating thickness value.
- Measure the Coating:

- Slowly rotate the display toward the minimum value until the probe detaches.
- Read the Result:
- The displayed value is the actual coating thickness.
