ZX-6 Thru-Paint Ultrasonic Wall Thickness Gauge
The new Dakota ZX-6 wall thickness gauge measure the wall thickness and corrosion rate of all metals, ceramics, glass and most hard plastics from one side with the highest precision. The coating thickness is removed from the measurement and will display only the thickness of the metal wall.
The ZX-6 features next automatic or manual probe zero that maximizes subsequent gain adjustment in 5 positions to locate the backward wall echo and to force door walls made of sound absorbing materials such as cast metal and thick materials. It also includes a differential mode, hi-low alarms with audible and visual indicators, and a scan mode that captures minimum thickness at 100 readings per second (100 Hz).
The ZX-6 can be used in a 'single thickness read mode' or in a 'scan mode' in which the probe is swept over a large measurement area. The minimum thickness value recorded during the 'scan' is displayed.
The gauge and probe are IP67 rated, impact resistant and environmentally friendly to ensure trouble free operation under harsh applications. Furthermore, the ZX-6 has a 5-year limited warranty and is CE certified.
