Merlin TGI detects single or multipane toughened glass. The TGi can easily indicate whether glass is toughened or not and can detect toughened glass in both panes from one side.
When the instrument is placed against the pane and the red button at the top of the gauge is pressed, 2 lines indicate analysis of single pane glass and 4 lines indicate double pane glass.
