The new DFX-8 combines all features of a flaw detector and thickness gauge – just in one gauge! It is developed for a wide range of measurement applications on coated and uncoated materials, like thickness measurements by the professional Pulse-Echo mode, Echo-Echo mode and other advanced measurement modes. For flaw professionals it includes DAC, AWS, TCG, DGS sizing toolkits.
All measurement results are presented on the large QVGA display with 60 Hz refresh rate and can be stored in the internal memory with 4 GB capacity. Data can be transferred by the USB output or a SD card.
Thickness Gauge Features:
The DFX-8 functions as a professional thickness gauge with many features to address a number of applications. The automatic measurement functions include probe zero, probe recognition and temperature compensation with high speed scan option for up to 50 readings per second. To enhance the user comfort, an audible alarm signalizes the hi/lo limits and 64 setup configurations can be set up. The measurement modes (for dual element probes) are:
