Total measuring range (depending on material and probe):
0.63 - 914.4 mm
Measuring range on steel (with standard probe T-102-3300):
0.63 - 150.0 mm
The TI-25DLX allows to determine the wall thickness as well as the extent of corrosion on all metals, ceramics, glass and most inelastic plastics – and this by measuring from one side only. Depending on the material and the probe used, it can measuring in a range up to 915 mm.
The TI-25DLX combines the advantages of the TI-25MX with a built-in data memory for 10,000 readings with 250 measurements per stack, with up to 40 separate batches and a USB data interface. The measured values can be transferred in .csv format to any program or viewed in the free Datacomm data software.
The TI-25DLX does not only offer you the possibility to select from 8 preset standard materials and store two custom sound velocities, but also allows an individual customization of the velocity. If the required speed of sound is not yet known, simply use the integrated calibration function. Based on a sample of known material thickness, the wall thickness gauge automatically calculates the correct speed of sound. For improved linearity between maximum and minimum values and highest accuracy, there is also the possibility of a 2-point calibration. The calibrations and pre-setttings can be locked to prevent unintended changes by an inexperienced user.
Default materials include:
The TI-25DLX can perform single or full surface scans. In the surface scan mode, the test head is guided over a large measuring surface, the device then outputs the minimum determined wall thickness of this surface.
The probe the TI-25DLX wall thickness gauge is waterproof and can also be used underwater. Due to the extruded aluminum housing, the device is resistant to impacts and an IP65 seal protects against further environmental influences. Like all TI series wall thickness gauges, the TI-25DLX comes with a 5 year warranty on the meter.
Probe diameter:
Specify the probe diameter for increased linearity.
High-speed surface scan:
Returns the lowest value detected during a 100 Hz scan.
Differential mode:
Returns the ± difference from an entered nominal value.
Alarm Mode:
Adjustable maximum and minimum limits. Exceeding the limit warns a visual and audible alarm.
2-point calibration:
Automatically determines the correct speed of sound from a calibration on 2 samples of known thickness.
