The TI-25PX is a cost-effective ultrasonic thickness gauge that is situated in between range, above our TI-25LTX and below the TI-25MX.
The TI-25PX Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is designed to measure wall thickness and determine the extent of corrosion on many materials. It is often used for pipes, tanks, plates and other objects. With regard to harsh industrial environments, the housing is made of extruded aluminum and sealed, which classifies the device to IP65. The whole is rounded off by a 5 year warranty on the gauge.
The velocity (speed of sound through an existing material) can be adjusted directly on the device from 305 - 18542 m/s. I does not offer features such as calibration to a known material thickness due to its lower price.
In general, the TI-25PX is used when only a specific type of material is tested. For frequently changing materials, the easy calibration functions of the TI-25MX are more suitable.
