The Dakota ZX-5DL Wall Thickness Gauge is deployed for precise one-sided measurement of wall thickness and the extent of corrosion of all metals, ceramics, glass and most rigid plastics.
Total Measuring Range (depends on material and transducer/probe type)
0.63 - 914.4 mm
Measuring Range on Steel (with standard T-102-2000 probe)
1.00 - 199.9 mm
In addition to all the features of the Zx-series it also has a built-in data memory for 10,000 values with 250 readings per batch (up to 40 separate batches) and a USB Output. Data transfer is possible via any program in ".csv" format or data can also be viewed in Datacomm Software (available to download for free).
The Zx-5DL can be used in a Single Thickness Reading mode or in a Scan mode can be selected. in the Scan-mod the probe is passed over a large area and then the minimum thickness value measured will be indicated.
The ZX-5DL is very robust, with an impact-resistant and environmentally sealed (IP65) gauge and a waterproof probe that can be plunged underwater.
